Egyptologists believe that the pyramid was built as a tomb over a 10 to 20-year period concluding around 2560 BC.

Angkor Wat
Siem Reap, Cambodia
Built in the 12th century. Estimated construction time of the temple is 30 years by King Suryavarman II, dedicated to Vishnu (Hindu), replica of Angkor Thom style of art.

Sagrada Família
Barcelona, Spain
Designed by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), it has been under construction since 1882 – 134 years and counting. The building is now 70 percent complete and on track to be finished in 2026.

Commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan to house the remains of his cherished wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Construction took approximately 20 years.

Empire State Building
New York, New York
The Empire State Building was designed by William F. Lamb from the architectural firm Shreve, Lamb and Harmon, which completed their original drawings in just two weeks. Built between March 17, 1930 and April 11, 1931. Completed in 1 year and 45 days.
