At present, they are the only two women leading a national nightly news broadcast. Prior to being named co-anchor of PBS NewsHour, Woodruff covered politics and current events for nearly four decades at PBS, CNN and NBC. Now, journalism students around the globe will have the opportunity to learn from her experience. On Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 2-3 p.m. EST, she will answer questions from aspiring journalists during a PBS NewsHour Facebook chat. Students will have the opportunity to ask the news veteran questions about her career trajectory, her experience navigating the changing media landscape and more. To join the chat, simply visit the PBS NewsHour Facebook page during the scheduled time. Woodruff will be answering questions posted on this page through her Facebook profile. This will be the first in a series of Facebook chats for journalism students featuring PBS NewsHour journalists who operate both on and off-camera.
